It would have been great if I could read JoeUser's blogs without opening my web browser. With the pop ups certain programs have been creating through my IE, I find it quite annoying when I log into JoeUser and once in a while a window suddenly comes out unprovoked. I've been checking out a new service which claims to increase the hits to one's blogs through a scheme that reminds one of banner exchanges. I've tried banner exchanges once when I was starting out as a webmaster to increase hits to my site, but I soon got tired of the demainds it made one me like visiting and rating other banner exchange members, making and posting banners for rotation, etcetera. I was going through some old copies of Newsweek this morning and I found the August 24, 2002 issue quite interesting because of an article entitled "Living In The Blog-Osphere". The article goes from page 42 to 45. The article is interesting in itself already, and perhaps it can still be read at http://newsweek.msnbc.com unless it has been taken out altogether from the server.
